Author Biography

Claire Carlin, University of Victoria, Victoria

Claire Carlin is Professor Emerita of French at the University of Victoria. Her publications focus on Early Modern theatre and the history of marriage in Early Modern France. Her digital anthology "Le mariage sous l’Ancien Régime" has been funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, and she is the P.I. for the ongoing SSHRC-funded project, Endings: Concluding, Archiving, and Preserving Digital Projects for Long-Term Usability. This project report is the result of collaboration among the ten team members named in the text.
